What the app does

InTager takes a photograph you choose from your device and suggests several captions and a list of hashtags for it. You decide what to use and publish it yourself. The app does not post anything anywhere on your behalf and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta.

Free use and credit packs

New devices receive a limited number of free generations. Beyond that, the app sells packs of generations through your Apple account. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

• Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
• A pack is a one-time purchase of a fixed number of generations. Nothing is charged again unless you buy another pack.
• Generations do not expire. One is spent each time the app produces a new set of captions for you; repeating a request for a photograph the app has already described costs nothing.
• Purchased generations are held against the anonymous identifier of the installation that bought them. Apple does not allow one-time purchases of this kind to be restored, so deleting the app forfeits any generations left in it.
• If a generation fails, it is not charged.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the terms of the App Store, not by us. Where Apple refunds a purchase, the generations it granted are withdrawn.

Your content

You keep all rights to the photographs you upload. By using the app you confirm you have the right to use those photographs. We use them only to produce captions and hashtags for you, and we do not store them.

Generated content

Captions and hashtags are produced by a machine learning model. They may be inaccurate, unsuitable or unoriginal, and you are responsible for reviewing anything before you publish it. We make no promise that a caption or hashtag will improve the reach of a post.

Acceptable use

Do not upload photographs that are unlawful, that you have no right to use, or that depict the sexual abuse or exploitation of any person. Do not attempt to access the service other than through the app, and do not automate it.

Availability

The service is provided as is. It depends on third-party providers and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. If a generation fails, it is not counted against your allowance.
